One of my last sculptures of 2024 was “inspired“ by those misguided activists who seek to further their aims by vandalising art.
Their chosen media is oil in the name of climate action – take the desecration of Klimt’s Death and Life. Why ? Did he paint for the oil industrialists ? There is no coherence in the actions of these protestors, unlike the art itself.
I personally think there should be more awareness of our impact on nature but not like this.
